Programs Have an Entire Staff Dedicated to Your Visit. Now, Your Family Has Athlete’s Arc.
Will a 3-and-D wing develop in a half-court offense? Will a post-first center fit in a transition offense? We hand you the playbook the programs didn’t know you had.
In the last three seasons, USC’s transfer portal retention rate places the program in the bottom 18% of all programs. What has been driving that trend, and what specifically has changed to address it?"
"We'd highly recommend Athlete's Arc to any family navigating college soccer recruiting — whether you're just getting started or already talking to coaches.”
If his priority is playing early in a system that matches his game, Mountain State is the data-supported first conversation. If he is willing to wait for playing time in exchange for a proven development environment and a winning program, City U's Excellent development and Excellent win performance make its Red Flag in freshman minutes a question worth asking.
"Walk us through what the development program actually looks like for a freshman forward here — your conditioning approach, how you manage the mental side of the college transition, and how the technical skills you develop connect to what you ask forwards to do in your system."
Every program on the list, side by side.
Fit scores and ratings for the four things that decide a basketball career: how many minutes will freshmen actually get, how much players develop by sophomore year, whether the program's system fits how your athlete plays, and how many players choose to stay out of the portal.
The number behind every rating.
Does this team like to play in the half court or the full court? Did the players stick around or test the transfer portal? Every metric gets a rating, the data behind it, and an honest read — including the one flag that must be answered before that school advances on your list.
Walk into every call with questions coaches can't wave off.
Each question is built from the data — the coach hears it and knows your family did the research. "The data says your freshmen play less than 2 minutes a game. What does the realistic year-one experience look like for an incoming power forward?" is a different conversation than "how's playing time?”
Every program on your list is being evaluated by other families right now.
Coaches are all persuasive — that's their job. The families who commit well aren't the ones with the best connections; they're the ones who walked in already knowing the answers and asked anyway.
Built for how your athlete plays.
Different positions live different careers — so each gets its own model, scored against its own peer group.

Pick the tier that matches your list.
Same depth at every tier — the only variable is how many schools.
Fair questions, straight answers.
Which sports and levels do you cover?
Baseball, softball, men's and women's basketball, football, men's and women's soccer, and women's volleyball. Our program data covers NCAA Division I — if a school you select isn't in our data, we'll tell you before research begins and refund that portion.
Where does the data come from?
Years of real program performance and roster history — playing time records, development patterns, and transfer outcomes — compared across peer groups of up to ~300 programs. Every rating shows you the numbers behind it.
How do I tell you which schools to analyze?
Right after checkout you'll receive a short intake form — about 10 minutes. It covers your athlete's info, sport, position and play style, ranked priorities, and your schools of interest. You have 45 days to submit it, so you can buy now and fill it out when your list is ready.
How fast will we get the report?
A personalized PDF in 3–4 business days after you submit your intake form — every school scored, flagged, and paired with the questions to ask.
Do you contact the schools or coaches?
No. We're not a recruiting service and we never contact programs on your behalf. The report is your family's private intelligence — a neutral second opinion no coach can give you.
What if we change our minds?
Full refund any time before you submit your intake form — no questions asked. Once research begins, we've done the work, so refunds close at intake submission.
